专题主谓⼀致与常见短语
就近原则：在 not only…but also， not…but ， neither…nor ， either…or ， there be… 句型中，谓语动词由相邻的主语来确定。
例： 1.Not only they but also I am going to collect money for the Hope Project.
2.Either you or Jack is about to take the place of the manager.
二，就远原则：
谓语动词的单、复数形式取决于离它较远的词语的情况。
主要是指主语后面有with， together with， as well as， no less than， along with， like， rather than， but， except， including， in addition to等短语时，谓语动词不受这些短语的影响，仍然与主语保持一致。
如：
The teacher as well as the students was (be) reading in the library. 老师和学生都在图书馆读书。
The factory， including its machines， was (be) completely damaged in the fire.
这个工厂以及里面的机器在火灾中毁于一旦。
